Professor Anoop Misra has multi-faceted personality and numerous distinctive achievements in clinical service, teaching, research, community health activities and medical education, and health upliftment of poor people. Dr Misra has been a member of a number of National and International policy and decision-making bodies in internal medicine, diabetes, obesity, nutrition and cardiovascular diseases. He has been a member of WHO Expert Group for Childhood Obesity (2005), and in WHO Expert Committee for Appropriate Measures of Obesity in Asian Populations (2005). He has been in Committee for Indian Pharmacopoeia and is an advisor for monitoring committees for National Institute of Nutrition (Hyderabad) and Department of Biotechnology. In 2006, Dr Misra was awarded highest award for medicine in India; Dr BC Roy Award, and in 2007 was given prestigious National award, Padma Shree. He has been personal physician of two Prime Ministers of India, apart from rendering medical service to several National and International dignitaries.
Dr. Seema Gulati
Dr Seema Gulati is the Head of the Nutrition Research Group, Diabetes Foundation (India), Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. She is instrumental in helping Dr. Anoop Misra for developing the Physical Activity Guidelines for Indian Population. Presently she is working as the Chief Project Officer, Diabetes Foundation (India). Her selected publications includes, Consensus dietary guidelines for healthy living and prevention of obesity, the metabolic syndrome, diabetes, and related disorders in Asian Indians, Diabetes Technology & Therapeutics, Consensus physical activity guidelines for Asian Indians, Diabetes Technology & Therapeutics, Improvement in nutrition-related knowledge and behaviour of urban Asian Indian school children: findings from the ‘Medical education for children/Adolescents for Realistic prevention of obesity and diabetes and for healthy aGeing’ (MARG) intervention study, Human and Clinical Nutrition.
Dr Swati Bhardwaj
Dr. Swati Bhardwaj is the Head, Nutrition and Fatty Acid Research, Diabetes Foundation (India), Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. She is one of the key personality in developing the Consensus physical activity guidelines for Asian Indians. Presently, she is working as Senior Project Officer at Diabetes Foundation (India). Her selected publications include, South Asian diets and insulin resistance, Journal of Nutrition, Spreading awareness for prevention of obesity and diabetes in school age children, Journal of Obesity and Dietary approaches for the prevention and management of hypertension, Journal of Preventive Cardiology.
Mrs. Aarti Ranade
A highly experienced trainer for Yoga & Pranayam, & Stress Management, and follower of BKS Iyengar Yoga. Also certified in Sports Nutrition & Relaxation techniques. Presently, she is working as a FSN core group member and taking care of all communications related to FSN.
Mr Aditya Rao. A Professional Lawn Tennis Player, and a Level IV coach for over a decade. A Sports Enthusiast.

Mr. Nitin Dadhe
Mr. Nitin Dadhe, a certified fitness coach, sports nutritionist, relaxation therapist & a strong believer in good health, healthy lifestyle and wellness. He conducted more than 500 workshops for corporate clients, Institutes & Individuals in various states in India and presently accepted to chair the Fitness, Sports and Nutrition, Core Group of IAPEN dedicated to promotes programs and initiatives that motivate people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to lead active, healthy lives. He is passionate to help people lead healthy lives and he is one of the founders of Fitness Sports and Nutrition Core Group of IAPEN.
Ms. Neha Sharma
Ms. Neha Sharma has completed Bachelors of Science (Home Science) from Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) in 2003, and Masters of Science in Food and Nutrition in 2005 from PAU. She started her career as a Clinical Nutritionist at Claris Life Sciences Limited. Currently she is working as an Independent Diet Consultant at Karkardooma, Delhi. She is an incisive professional with more than 10 years of experience in the field of nutrition and Possesses strong diagnosis and treatment skills in Dietetics and has a good understanding of diet charts/routine based on clinical prescriptive and therapeutic diseases.
She became Life Member of IAPEN in the year 2017 and later she joined Sports Nutrition Course in February 2018. She was selected as an IAPEN National Mentors for promoting Sports Nutrition throughtout India based on her performance in Sports Nutrition Course. IAPEN had announced only 32 Nutrition Support Clinicians, Clinical Nutritionists and Sports Nutritionists throughout India in various specializations. Only two people were selected in Sports Nutrition Category.
Ms Ritika Gupta
Ms Ritika Gupta has completed Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons with Physical Disabilities, Delhi University and has joined Master Degree in Food and Nutrition from Delhi University. She is currently associated with Sports Authority of India at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium New Delhi. She Joined IAPEN in the year 2018 and enrolled in the Certificate Course in Sports Nutrition. She was appointed as Co-Chair for the Fitness Sports and Nutrition Core Group of IAPEN for promoting Advanced Sports Nutrition.
Nikita Bhatia is a sports physiotherapist from Pune working with iphysio as a senior physiotherapist since 2015. She was the team physiotherapist for Team Tennis Excellence for 2 years , clinical lead taking care of the Koregaon Park centre for iphysio. A trained and experienced Dry Needling therapist and Instructor, She’s has treated and takes care of professional athletes in the field of Football, Badminton, Kabaddi , Wresting, Tennis , Cricket. She Joined IAPEN in the year 2019 and enrolled in the Certificate Course in Sports Nutrition. She was appointed as Co-Chair for the Fitness Sports and Nutrition Core Group of IAPEN for promoting Advanced Sports Nutrition.
Ms. Mukta Tolani
Ms. Mukta Tolani is a Certified Nutrition coach. She studied Diploma in Nutrition and Health education from IGNOU and did her internship at Karuna Hospital. She also hold a diploma in Yogic education from Yoga Vidya Niketan (by Padmashree Nimbalkar Guruji) and have also trained under Sir Kobad Vairava, a renowned disciple of BKS Iyengar of Iyengar school of Yoga. She had done Fitness Management Certification from the prestigious K11 academy. She has been in the Health and Fitness industry since 2005. (14 years) As a Holistic Nutrition & Lifestyle coach, She has individually coached many people to get fit, lead a healthy lifestyle, eat mindfully by making conscious and healthy food choices. She has held many Corporate training and Group workshops with prestigious organisations and have participated in conducting Health camps by Karuna Hospital. She joined IAPEN in the year 2019 and enrolled in the Lifelong Learning Program (Certificate Course in Sports Nutrition). She was appointed as Co-Chair for the Fitness Sports and Nutrition Core Group of IAPEN for promoting Advanced Sports Nutrition.
Mrs Jayati Mukherjee
Mrs Jayati Mukherjee is a self employed nutritional consultant having more than 8+ years of experience in private consultation. She is having a Master's Degree in Nutrition from the Calcutta University. She has extensive experience in fund raising activities, organization of workshops, seminars and courses to promote clinical nutritional awareness, procedures and benefits to the community of health professionals. She has been associated with conducting various community nutrition services. She joined IAPEN Lifelong Learning program (Certificate Course in Paediatric Nutrition) on 1st Jan 2018, she was awareded Honorary Life Membership of IAPEN on 7th June 2018 and was also appointed as Regional Officer of Gurgaon Chapter of IAPEN. Since then she is devoting her life in promoting advanced pediatric nutrition by conducting various IAPEN activities at Gurgaon and Delhi.

Ms Himani Puri
Ms Himani Puri has completed Bachelor of Home Science Degree from SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai in 2003 and had done Masters of Science in Food and Nutrition from Panjab University, Chandigarh in 2006. She started her career as an intern at Civik Hospital, Nashik and later joined as Clinical Nutritionist at Apollo Clinic, Nasik in the year 2007. She found Sattva Nutricare in 2011, an independent diet consulting organization which involves wide variety of patients having Diabetes, GDM, Osteoporosis, Thyroid Disorders, Hepatitis, CVD, Renal Diseases, GI Disturbances, Obesity and trauma. She also worked as a Programme Co-coordinator for ‘DEPTH – Diabetes Education Prevention and Training Hub’ a philanthropic venture to promote diabetes education, management and awareness among diabetic, non-diabetic and pre-diabetic patients and relatives in 2014 to 2016. She is currently working at Sattva Nutricare (An independent Diet Consulting Organization). She has about 12 years of experience in the health care industry working with wide variety of client base from all walks of life, from businessmen to office-goers to homemakers to students to athletes.
Ms Himani Puri joined IAPEN in the year 2015, later she associated herself in the Global Nutrition Partnership program started by IAPEN in association with American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition. She was appointed as Regional Officer, IAPEN for the formation of Nashik Chapter in the year 2019. Currently she is interested in Fitness, Sports and Nutrition, a core group of IAPEN for promoting wellness in all walks of life. She was appointed as an Executive Director, Fitness, Sports and Nutrition, A Core Group of IAPEN in the year 2019.
